The use of artillery and air delivered bombs separated the act from the emotional impact of killing. This has continued with the use of drones launched in Afganistan from a control centre in the US.

This petition is important but what is required is a movement against war and weapons development. I am upset by all the pain and suffering caused by inadequate incomes when so much wealth is used to produce armaments, death and destruction.

What is now required is a movement by the 99%ers to rally around and consolidate our potential political power on social and economic justice. Anti-war is one important aspect.

We need to arouse awareness of our potential political power as the 99%ers and exert our moral responsiblities in the political arena.
